How to avoid nerves on making a move?

Recently I’ve had my eyes on this girl who seems into me. I notice her glancing at me or holding eye contact but she’s shy so it doesn’t happen often.

She seems to come into my personal space whenever we are near. I was attending an assembly and noticed that her, alongside her friends, all skipped through 30 person line to stand next to me.

We were about to sit next to each other (the perfect moment) until my friends decide to sit in another row.

You don’t understand the anger I had, she’d been standing near me all week and the one opportunity I had to speak to her was ruined.

She purposely comes near me when she can and I’m worried that she will stop being interested if I don’t make a move. The problem is that I will get too nervous and blow it.

Does anyone have any advice on how to get over nerves?

I’d say to envision her as a good friend and nothing more. Once you shift the narrative in your mind from approaching a girl you’re interested in, to simply chatting with a friend, you’ll feel more comfortable and confident enough to at least ask for her social media and chat with her more privately, without the intimidation of other people around.

Just take a deep breath and don’t think about it. Girls are too shy to make the first move, and if takes long, our point of view is going to be as if you were not interested and never noticed her. Girls get more nervous and will back away if you’re not alone. Good luck !
