She’s shy and I have limited contact with her at school but occasionally talk. I notice her glancing or staring at me sometimes so I assumed there was a bit of interest.
Me and her ended up going to the same party but she seemed to avoid me. She rarely came to have a conversation, mostly joining groups of people I had just left or were around.
At one point someone asked if I wanted to go to a bar and I accepted as I was pretty fed up of my situation. As I start to walk off, she comes and asks me if I’m leaving early so I tell her I’ll be back after some shots.
Eventually, I come back but people are starting to leave. I say goodbye and she said “oh we should’ve spoken more” with a one-armed hug.
From what I gathered she seemed uninterested but I don’t know whether to give her the benefit of the doubt.
