Guys, So I have a question for the boys, what does it mean when your crush pick the same thing you did, while all of his friends pick the other?

For context: I am a 16-year-old girl and and have liked a boy (16M) for 3 years. We have never really had a conversation together, but I have noticed subtle signs of him being interested in me (strong eye contact, looking jealous when I speak to other boys, trying to be around the same space I am).

We do not go in the same class (we have been in the same class for three years in junior high school though, but not in high school) but have been doing it in chemistry, where two and two classes have been put together. We have classes together in a big classroom, fitting for over 40 students, like a cinema type with special chairs behind with tiny tables, then four rows of normal chairs and big straight tables. I have always been seated in the back, but our teacher recently banned it since no one was paying attention and told everyone to seat themselves in the front.

I chose to be seated on the normal chairs in the front, while my crush seated himself on the left side on the special chairs with tiny tables, two rows back, but close enough so he could see what I was writing on my computer during the lecture.

So, we have a test next week and were quite far with what we had to learn, so our teacher proposed an idea. She said we could either watch a movie regarding the stuff we were going through or have another lecture where she is talking and going through the syllabus, as we were missing 3 points. all of my friends raised their hands, and the majority of the students to watch the movie, while I and the rest of the students chose option two. While I was looking around to see who chose the same as me, I notice my crush (who actually do not really care for school) was raising his hand to the same thing I did, when all of his friends had their hands down, as they chose the movie. My friends are telling me that this is another sign he likes me, but I am unsure. What do you guys think?
