What do you mean? I've had crushes that just fade away to be barely remembered, if at all. Fairly strong crushes too... I remember going through papers on my desk one day, and coming across a love note that I guess I intended to give to someone. It started "Dear Kristina" and it was pretty sentimental. Not over the top in love, but it was "hey I think you're really cute, let's go see a movie" type of deal. The note was never intended necessarily to be delivered; it was more of an exercise to process my feelings.

Anyway, as I was reading the letter back to myself, all I could think to myself was "Who the heck is Kristina?" !

Oh boy, have I ever. It even got so bad that I had a period where I tried to abstain from getting crushes in the first place, simply in fear of rejection. I think I've learned not to do that again, because I am currently struggling with   stemming from this as well as a   I had as a high school sophmore.

My one and only girlfriend asked me out, besides that, not counting the girls who went up to me at parties this past year (freshman year of college) my batting average is.000.

Got one formal date but it was more of a just friends kinda deal but I think we both wanted it to be more than that I just said we can go as friends fearing rejection. Got friendzoned anyway. Judging from how I reacted to even the lightest of rejections, I don’t think I should be getting in a relationship right now.

That was six months ago and while I’m mostly over her, we’re still friends, because thankfully I also had a desire to be friends with her.

Yes and here is something weird i had a girl friend request me she was in my 3rd grade class i moved away shortly after so it had been at least 20 years and back then i had a crush on her sister and i look her sister up and that crush never went away after all these years
