What does he think about me?

Hello, I am confused how he thinks about me. Here’s my story. My crush and I first met at a bar and he showed his interest to me at first sight. Starting from that day he texted me every single day and flirted with me. He said like “He misses me more than I do” and he came to me just to see my face for a few minutes because he said that he missed me. But one day he stopped texting and flirting things after he found out that one of my best male friend has a huge crush over me. That male friend is also a best friend of him. Now, he even teasing me with my male friend and he said he is willing to help him. I don’t even know what is his idea and am I ghosted or friendzoned by him?
Please share your ideas for me. What should I do?

Sorry but it’s either ur male best
friend had a crush on u longer than ur crush or that he is using this as a technique to get u to spend more time with ur crush. Maybe they both like u but ur crush wants to know if u like ur male best friend, so if u tell ur male best friend that u don’t like him than he would probably tell ur crush. They want to ur crush and make best friend want to still stay friends. So they probably made an agreement saying , this is in dialogue so I can understand better : Crush: ok if she likes u then I will help until u get an answer but if she doesn’t then I will pursue her. Make Best Friend: Ok I agree, well wait for an answer from her

I'll never understand "Crushes". It seems silly to me. If you or him had already told each other how you felt already, you'd be together by now, instead of on where, asking people you don't know, how a guy feels
