He rejected me even though he first texted me confessed his feelings for me but he recently said he can't have a relationship. After that we were in a no contact situation. But he was a good friend of mine. So I texted him occasionally small talks. But he never does. Does texting him occasionally is right thing to do for myself? Or am I lowering myself in front of him? Does he make fun of this?
How could we know if he makes fun of it? Anyways it sounds like you are on his sidelines and he'll keep you as a backup so to speak. That's the I have feelings but no relationship play. It's an illogical way to give you hope.
Id say do yourself a favor and move on. There are plenty of men and some will no doubt put you first and want a relationship.
Men don't typically do small talk. We'll do it because you like it, but it's not something we tend to gravitate towards.
