My male friend has changed towards me lately doing silly things like compliments how I look, notices silly things about me, playfully teases me, I do catch him staring at me sometimes and let night while saying goodbye he hugged me and planted a kiss on my cheek then walked me to my car and before closing the door blew another kiss into me!!! what does all this mean please and thanks!

He is simply infatuated in you and that is his own way to show you. His feelings have shifted from a platonic friendship to a crush on you.

You should intervene before this entire situation gets out of hand unless of course, you reciprocate these feelings.

His behavior is the best way to destroy a normal friendship because as soon as you involve emotions, you can never be friends to the same innocent extend anymore.
