If a girl responds after 2 days, should I ignore her?

What if it has beccome a "pattern" lately? She waits 2-3 days, then responds, then disappears again.

Should I ignore her? If so, should I respond if she double/triple texts me (if she asks me what's going on/why I ignore her)?

My guess is if she waits that long, that she only responds to your texts (ie doesn't ever text you first)? In my opinion, unless someone has died or she's out of the country or something, there's no excuse for that long of a wait from ANYONE. I don't know if you're dating, or just friends, but that's ridiculous. I assume she has very little to no interest in you, and my guess is she won't ask what's going on because probably doesn't care? Personally if it were me, I wouldn't ignore her, but I wouldn't be communicating anymore (unless she did first).

Actually, earlier this week, we hadn't been communicating for 2 days. So she reached out and asked me if I was okay. I replied very late (during the same day), and she replied like 2 days later (Thursday). Then, on the same day, I sent her a text, and she replied an hour later. I was unfortunately busy at that time so it took me like 7 hours to reply. I don't know if she was mad, but I haven't heard from her since then (it's been 2 days).

But I'd say that she used to text first pretty often (not as much as me, but still frequently). Oh by the way, we're just friends. We met like 7-8 months ago. I'd say we were pretty "close" friends until very recently.

Maybe ask her what's taking her so long to reply? Or if everything is ok with her lol. I don't know, maybe with women it's different (like they get so many messages maybe and people texting that they truly don't see it sometimes maybe?). But 2 days is ridiculous to me.

Yeah I could, but I don't want to come across as "needy".. but the girl and I are talking on a website that doesn't really sends push-notifications. So she might not be truly ignoring me (maybe she's just busy), but still...

Oh... if it's a website, that kind of explains it better as she's probably not on it often. Maybe suggest moving to email, or the phone, or something she might see more often?

Yeah I could. But I personally check my messages daily. She used to respond more frequently in the past. I don't understand why she has changed.

Maybe confront her on it. I mean, she asks you when you do it, so it shouldn't seem "needy". 2 days is a long time, just ask like she does/did. Just say something like "I notice you don't reply as quickly as you used to and sometimes days go by, is everything ok?"

Anybody can have a busy 2/3 days. Exams, work deadline etc etc. So don't be cut up by it. If it is always 2/3 days than she is probably not only not interested in you as a guy but not that interested in you full stop.

You could say you were interested in her but she doesn't seem to be so lets stop pretending.

Yes you should. The only guys I don’t respond to for days are guys I haven’t no interest in. I respond embarrassingly fast to the guy I want. If she really liked you there’s no way she’d be going days without responding. Everyone is different but she sounds like a waste of your time I would move on

No, why do you expect an instantaneous response. Some people have other things to do than look at text messages. If she responds at all, she's interested in you.
