I met this girl today and she gave me her number without the last digit, what does it mean?

I've been in summer school now for the last few weeks and theyres this girl who gets my attention every time she passes me. I hadn't talked to her at all until today, but she made conversation with me today and we talked for the whole class.. when we were leaving I figured since there was only 2 days left I would ask her for her number. I ended up getting the number but later when I went to text her I noticed that it was missing a digit.. I don't know if she did it purposly just because she didn't want to say no, or if it was just a mistake.

So, what does it mean that the girl I met today gave me her number without the last digit?

if the area code or something else seems way off like all 5 or 7's then its fake but if the last number is just missing then try what mrwrong said and who gives a sh*t if you p*ss off 9 other people could be worth it or ask her enxt class

Sounds like a mistake. She might be upset and worried you won't call her. I say keep punching in that 10th digit until you get her phone. The worst that could happen is you may slightly disgruntle up to 9 people.

Wants to avoid you I guess. I once met a girl, actually I needed her help. And she did help me, she was nice that way. I asked for her number hoping to give her thanks later on. I had no intention to date, or befriend her even. She typed it on my phone.

Weeks went by and some event caused me to remember her. So I thought I would message her and tell her how grateful I was for her help and wished her all the best. The message didn't go through and I realize it was a dud number. Oh well. Still wish her all the best.

My guy, you’re reading too much into this. The next time you see her, just let her know that you tried texting her but it didn’t go through because one digit was missing. She probably didn’t realize it.
