I’m a very observant person, and find it attractive when a woman goes to the trouble of wearing accessories that match or compliment her outfit, particularly with hair. If someone said “wow I love your scrunchie, it’s cute that it matches your outfit” or something like that, would you find that nice or strange that someone noticed or cared? I have a hard time knowing what a safe, yet sweet compliment could include, so it would be nice to know if I should keep this in mind.
I don't think it is something I would preplan, if you are talking and laughing and comfortable with each other, saying it wouldn't hurt anything and might seem cute that you notice the details, but if in doubt, just say she has a beautiful smile, that is a super safe compliment. JMO!

I don't wear them, and I don't recall ever using them all that much, but it really depends on the delivery of the compliment.
