Why do guys in general seem to not like Mediterranean women as much as whiter girls?

so I'm Mediterranean, and I have olive skin, dark brown hair and big dark brown eyes. and the thing is, that I have noticed that when I walk down the street, I get looks and checked out by mexican,spanish, Italian,indian,greek etc... guys. but I don't get that as much from guys with white skin+blue/brown/green eyes. so I was just wondering why? do lighter skinned guys naturally prefer white skinned girls or something? (I'm honestly wondering and not trying to offend anyone in any way).

that's not true, I'm mediterranean in origin and get checked out all the time, unless you mean arabic? (but arab girls can be pretty too). maybe you just present as diffident. besides you're under 18 so a lot of men wouldn't look at you in the same way as a grown woman - you're jailbait at the moment and probably dress for your age and social group which could be the reason why you don't stand out *yet.

also, there will be men looking at you but you're not noticing it because you're not looking back at them.

it just seems like it. also I get looks from older guys, 20+. and I don't think its because I'm too young, cause even though I'm 16, I've always looked older and now can pass as 18-early 20s most of the time.

you don't get my point - you have to carry yourself differently. looking older is nothing to do with it. don't be in a hurry, you'll be attractive to any man if you like yourself, being desperate is obvious - you'll get the looks soon enough, trust me.

Omg i can relate!! I used to have the same problem.. My friend (norwegian) got hit on before me, the blonde guys would always talk to her and i would always get the hispanic, greek, turkish looking guys etc etc. That's until i changed my hair color, from dark brown to blonde i've already had the green eyes to begin with so that wasn't a problem and my skin is pale olive.. But yeah dying my hair blonde helped a lot!!

I disagree, my skin color is pale but can tan, and I find them to be hard to attract. I have attracted them before but it's hard. Personally I would kill to be with an italian, spanish, and greek, I love Brazilian too! I see them with darker girls all the time. I think they like those girls with perfect noses though, I don't have one and it bugs me.

I'm sure they are still looking at you, but you may just not be noticing!. I'm of Italian mediterranean origin but I think meditarranean girls are attractive. Everyones different :P

It might depend on the area. I don't know of any reason white skinned guys wouldn't find that attractive, even if they do prefer blond Nordic types.
