Not necessarily. Bro can be the equivalent of the term "dude," something girls used to call guys all the time. It just depends on the person and how you feel about them.
Better still, ask them why they call you "bro."
I know I used to call close guy friends and crushes "dude" all the time. Why? Felt like it. That or he did or said something stupid. But it was no reflection on my relationship with them.
Now if a guy calls me bro?
Yeah I'm soo in the friendzone there's no escaping that 😂
Before anyone asks why, it's WAY different when a guy refers to a female as a dude or brother, because that implies he sees you as "one of the guys," not a female or girl of interest.
Yes. Why not? I don't mind it (if I wasn't attracted to him and didn't have romantic feelings and I thought of him like that as well). But that kind of thing is a bit rare, since I easily fall for people lol, that's the problem.
Mostly it means friend zone, unless that is just how they talk. If they call everyone bro all the time, then you might have a chance.
But I don't think a guy would ever call a girl he likes bro in a serious way. It's just weird. Woman to man, maybe, but still weird if they like you.
If he or she really likes you they will avoid calling you things like that, unless they are just so awkward they don't know how to flirt at all.
Yes as we call guys bro, therefore, you are one of the guys.

He could just be high on weed lol braugh
I've Never had a female say that to me
When I've called a guy bro, it's either because he's been my established boyfriend of years and it's become a habit, OR it's to purposefully hint to a guy that I can tell likes me that I'm not interested and see them as just a friend. Never in between.
I call everyone bro and in my opinion it's not bro-zoning anyone. You don't become anyone's literal brother lol. Sometimes it takes me a lot of restraint to not call me own boyfriend bro lmao, when I get the urge I say dude or bruh instead 😂😂
Not necessarily. You hear a lot of females today calling their own boyfriends "bruh" which I really really hate, it's so unfeminine and hoodsy.
Look i would say in my country if you have crush or like someone let's say who is older than you then you have to call him bro you can't take his name. Or if she is girl then it's Sis.
I’d call them on it, teasing. “What? You’re zoning me? !” To see what they say.
I think we as GenZ use 'bro' as a address to everyone. I literally called my grandmother bro the other day. So you're not bro zoned for sure. Its just a way to address people. And means that you are a friend.
I don't know, dude haha. One of my coworkers calls me her bro all the time, but if I said "hey let's go get a hotel room" she would probably yes in about 3 seconds
You are defenetly friendzoned for life, or Im just wrong about girls who say pne thing and mean another.
It's kinda bad, but the more I like someone, the more I call them dude, bro, etc. But that is just me and I do have problems with trying to push people I like away, so do with this information what you want.
Me and my ex used to jokingly call each other bro and dude the whole time.
I prefer to refer to guys I would like to get comfortable with bro not necessarily because I don't like them but rather to feel much closer to them
Yeah if you’re using “bro” or “dude” that’s usually a sign you’re in the friend zone.
Nothing is going to dry up my mangina faster than calling me any variation of matey dude bro.
Yes. It means they’re definitely not interested in you.
My wife’s been calling me dude more recently. But we’re having more sex. So not gonna complain.
Could be a language faupax where someone might say dude to everyone who knows.
Happened to me few weeks ago when she said bruh bro 🙄
It’s just a term of address. There isn’t some deep meaning behind everything the opposite sex says.
