I do not find a fling a good option for a relationship, however, it is the general attitude of most on the dating apps.

Depending on the circumstances, if both oarties go in with their eyes open on it being nothing more than a fling then yes I'd agree to an extent. However once feelings are involved it is never going to be that simple, I think if your on a dating app and you match someone and take it to the extent of meeting to person the very least you should be doing is giving them a fair chance of making it working long term not just for a fling as that is disenguous from the off in my view.
