I've a few tricks up my sleeve. People Generally don't like to approach or even talk to strangers without reason. But they're always looking for one so give it too them.
Take an interest in something like a photo on wall. It gives him a reason to approach and start a conversation.
If your with friends say something funny out loud, often a guy in earshot will laugh and it breaks the ice
The "ieychd da" trick, shout it when you get a round of drinks in, Guys on the next table nearly always respond.
Look like your having a good time, happy people are more approachable.

I don't give signs for that lol I either go do it myself or let it be... sometimes you see guys carefully checking you out and that's a situation were normally someone can give some sign that "yeah it's okay to approach me" but I don't do that either, I mostly think to myself "well if you don't have courage enough, I don't want you anyways" but that's more me and not the norm lol mostly girls give signs by smiling at the guy and then they hope he understands it, what mosten doesn't happen
