not a creep or a predator i promise.. i recently turned 18 and is it weird to tell someone like 16/17 to talk to me when they’re 18? i have someone trying to flirt with me and i just said “ hmu when you're 18 im sorry” is this wrong?

I think this a personal choice everyone has to decide for themselves. It's not like when you turn 18 and talk to someone who's 17 and 364 days makes you a pedophile. I mean it's wrong from a legal standpoint. And as far as I'm concerned most 18 yr Olds are still children to.😆

So I guess my answer to you when you're over 18 why would you even entertain a 16 year old? Most women want to date up that age, not down. I remember being asked out by a 17 yr. Old girl when I was 21. And I remember thinking at the time even though we got along well, that her parents would think I was some kind of Creep. It's funny to me now because I didn't date her for that reason. But we are still friends to this day. And I regret not dating her because we were a very good match.

There is no legal bounds on age, for just talking. Getting more involved becomes stickier. No pun intended!
