Would this be a good way to ask for her phone number?

I’m interested in a co-worker of mine at work, but I’m not really sure how to go about asking for her phone number. We talked a lot about anime and some of the same interest we both have during our shift earlier today. We laughed and joked around. I would like to recommend her a few anime series that she should check out and I was thinking about asking for her phone number, so I can text them to her. I don’t want to make feel uncomfortable.

You understand my situation so well. I had such a great connection with her. More than anyone I liked in the past. We both went to rival high school, which I thought was funny. Although, she’s 21 years old and I’m 30 years old, so hopefully age won’t be a problem. It would be nice to plan a time to hang out outside of work, if she’s comfortable with that.

I couldn’t ask her today because a co-worker was working with us, but other than that it was a good time talking to her and joking around with her today. We both like k-pop and like some of the same artist. I’m currently making a k-pop playlist for her. I truly have a connection with her because of all the things we have in common. I think if she agrees to exchange numbers than maybe when texting later that day mention the playlist. I would not ask anyone out the same day we exchanged numbers. Too soon for me personally
