Let's say you go into a bar where this woman is the waitress. She is sweet, friendly, and has the other qualities you see here. Would you tip for her and visit the place more often? I will admit I probably would.

I genuinely never succumbed to that so much. I had beautiful waitresses even writing hearts on my receipts but I always figured it was part of the service.

As another example, my friends took me to strip clubs a lot when I was young and some of them were falling in love with the strangers. I never bought into the fantasy; it always seemed apparent to me that the strippers were just doing their jobs.

Isn't it obvious? My friend might get a VIP lap dance with the stripper and then after it's done, she's doing it with another guy. Why is my friend getting the idea that she is in love with her now?

Strip clubs are the definition of wasting money, and energy. You are showing her that she is above you.

I think you said it very clearly but I also think so for bartenders, waitresses, etc.

I see where you coming from, but they serve you with food and drink. You get something for your money. The fact that you find her attractive and how you go about it beyond is up to you. Strip clubs on the other hand are a trap by default.

I might admittedly be one of somewhat low self-esteem. I got my fair share of dates outside these joints but I always distrusted even bartenders being so friendly to me as desiring me, since it seemed like they could do that with any customer. And I look around in the room at the men who the bartender might flirt with, and I think a good number of them are better-looking and cooler than me.

When I was younger I'd hit up a bar that I disliked because the bartender was hot and had a playful personality. I don't drink or frequent bars any longer though.
