Well, he's not just going to fall in your lap. Shy or not, you've gotta reach out. Keep it casual. Ask about hanging out or studying together. He might not like you now, but maybe that would change if you got to know each other. And maybe not and you'll have to take the L and try again with someone else. But one thing we know for certain is that it can never happen if you don't at least try.
