Is there any meaning to this or am I overthinking?

I have met with a mentor online and I thought he was a really cool guy but after our second virtual meeting things started to feel a little off for me. He called me beautiful multiple times and then takes these long stares and proceeds to say he really likes me. I didn’t really think of it as anything the first time we met but now it’s a bit concerning. He’s 79 years old and sends me emails complimenting me. I don’t know if he’s just nice and this is normal or is he flirting with me?
