Of all the people who have flirted with me in my life I do not believe I ever stopped and said "I wonder if she likes me." Probably should have. Maybe. People flirt every day. Some do it just for fun. I have never really concerned myself with if she liked me at that point.

Now if we've actually gone out and she flirts, that's different.

Ofc. But I would also like to note that some people (both men and women) are naturally charismatic and people oriented, so some cannot differentiate between that and flirting, and thus mistake friendliness for flirting.
