I have a flirty relationship with a guy at work.

I was stressing about an upcoming event and I was having my hair and makeup done.

I was talking to him about it, and I said “I’m having my makeup and hair done for this event. I want to look beautiful”

He then said “why don’t you do it yourself then?” And we had some extended eye contact.

Was he subtly telling me that he finds me beautiful?

Hmm that's a tough one. Hard to say for sure without knowing the full vibe between you guys. A couple things it could mean:

- He was trying to compliment you in a kinda low-key way. Like saying you always look beautiful so you don't need all the extra hair/makeup. Extended eye contact makes it seem like he was feeling some type of way.

- Or it could have just been playful banter between you two. Maybe he was teasing that you stress too much about appearances.

I'd say trust your gut though. If other interactions have seemed flirty, there's a good chance he was throwing you a compliment. Guys don't always say it straight up, you know? We have awkward ways of showing we think a girl is hot haha.

I'd take it as a good sign! Keep the flirty vibes going and see where it leads. Just be careful mixing work with play too. But sounds like he's into you!

Doesn’t sound like it to me. Sounds like he’s saying basically if you want it done right than you should probably do it yourself cause you’ll know exactly what you want.
