I have always only looked, and if the girl looks me way I either lock eyes or just scan around naturally.

+1 ywhen young I'd run away because I had issues with intimacy and my own deep fears and shame. So my solution made sense... see someone attractive... run... I don't want the risk of anything.
as got older and healed, I'd talk to almost anyone as I was more outgoing in a "normal" way, social... true in most settings. Most people are reasonable, not stupid, but also don't want to feel uncomfortable. But... people do like to be acknowledged and regraded regardless of male/female. So it's not what you do or say, it's how you do it and come across. It's good to have people to say hello to that acknowledge you and I try to build that. I know the leader at my grocery store and the janitor (males). I never had a date from a gym, but had opportunities I chose not to take from bike club. You put yourself in a position to make the best choices you can, rather than live in fear... that's what I'm saying.
I do the same for everyone unless I don't want to talk to them, I see most people as the same, some are more attractive or interesting than others.
I honor my wife, and I no longer go to the gym for various reasons... like I'd rather be outside in the fresh air. I stay away from connecting too much with women, that's not appropriate.
There are ways of changing how one thinks so that problems you have are converted and perceived differently and turned to opportunities.

+1 yI don’t really do much of anything. It’s not because I’m “scared” of anything. I just do my best to mind my own in public and approaching women I don’t really know isn’t my style. I like to sort of get to know someone first. If I really want to talk to someone I will or if they talk to me I do my best to be friendly

+1 yLook up and down smirking until we lock eyes. But i haven't been to the gym in a few months. I got hella nervous when one guy leaned against the equipment i was exercising on and his two buds came over and they were just standing there staring down at me. I closed my eyes and wished they weren't there when i opened em 🤣 Hotness overload

+1 yHonestly I do most of my workouts at home and the only times I've been to gyms is when a friend invites me. Out of the very few times I've been to the gym I've only complimented a girl I found attractive once and she just said thank you.
I've heard some horror stories (only online) about guys who get sexual harassment suits against them and honestly it does dissuade me from attempting to approach any attractive girls at the gym. I guess I was lucky that one time I did, there weren't any claims.10 ReplyI make sure i look good and if there's an opportunity i talk to him. But most guys just stare and them are afraid to talk to me and look away when i notice them 😂

I think for the most part a lot of us will do that. I do sometimes see a guy go up to a girl and talk to her and I just shake my head laughing. 😂

You’re in the gym to fuck up the weights, not fuck the people in there
+1 yI'll look and just think "oh wow they're attractive"
That's pretty much it21 Reply- +1 y
Pretty much
Casually take looks at them if I'm nearby, or look at them through the mirror. Although if they are particularly hot to me I will wait until they look at me to look right back. I did this with an older woman about a week ago. Man, she was hot as fuck. She kept looking at me and so I kept looking back. Unfortunately didn't have the time to try to get closer though.

+1 yJust take a few glimpses, appreciating that they're attractive. And maybe text my friend about it.

That’s good
+1 yI'll stars at them a little and carry on with my day. I don't go gym, rarely do I ever walk past a window gym with all the treadmills or front entrance glass huge glass everywhere. That's the thing about gyms: they insist on huge glass facades. Go figure right, shrugs 🫣

And I don't even want to see. So go figure
I try to look at the guy and let him know I'm interested.

Yeah considering most girls do the opposite lol they look away
+1 yI don't really look around much as there's been guys that have been ousted from the gym due them eye-ballin for to long and creeping some girls out.
I tend to go in, workout and then hit the road.

+1 yI smiled and nodded at them. After a couple of times and seeing some mutual returns, went up asked their name and what workout they were doing at the end of one of their sets.
Worked pretty well.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yI drink up the sight and enjoy it. I'm there to work out, but happy to enjoy the eye candy along the way. My current gym has a few girls with VERY nice asses that they display well. There aren't as many girls with great boobs, but there are a couple every now and then.

+1 yI usually look away. I don't make direct eye contact with them if I pass by them. They're usually on headphones anyway. Unless they are close by and I asked them something.

+1 yWhen I went to the gym, I'd do what I do outside of the gym, scan their body for a few seconds and get back to what I was doing. No need to do anything else.

Huh?

I mean gay men. There is a 50/50 chance a man at a gym in my country is gay. If he doesn't look at me at all, it could be. (I don't need to wear provocatively to get attention.)
