There is a guy I work with that I’ve been friends with for a while, and while sometimes I feel like he’s flirting, mostly I take it as friendly conversation. We don’t work in the same team, but my team supports his teams work.
Well, yesterday I had to go help him with something, and while I was dropping something off we talked. He leans so close his upper arm and my upper are are in the state of contestant touching (he did this for a short period the day prior when I ran into him in the hall). His face was so close I could see every single color fleck in his eyes.
While we usually have some conversation, I realized he kept asking me questions about what I had going o n while I was in there with him. It was intense, I shook it off but it stuck with me.
Well then I thought back to last week, when he will being moving to a new job in the summer (very normal part of his job) and he got his job in an extremely popular expensive part of the world the mostly the ultra-elites can afford to visit that’s only a couple hours away from where we are currently. I joked about coming to visit and he said I should. Following it with “I’m serious, come visit”. Strait face. At one point he joked about me coming to work with him.
Oh, and he can’t ever remember my coworkers name (who most guys tend to fawn over). She’s sweet and gorgeous, I know guys who moved across the country for her. Him though? It’s been months and I have to help him remember her name. She also thinks he’s into me, but us girls feed into each others de-lulu.
So thinking about this, am I just over-reading or is he expressing his interest and I’ve just been reading him as friendly.
