Am a guy and a guy I work with always steals glances at me, why?

He stares at me when we are in the car either going for work or knocking off when he thinks am not looking, then he quickly looks away when he notices that i can see him. This has been happening for at least a month now and i dont know why he steals glances at me, sometimes he would staring at the trousers or shoes am wearing then goes all the way to my face.
