I don't know if asking her to buy you chocolate is like your way of making a move or testing the waters or something but this is not the best way to determine if she likes you or not. It sounds like you two are cool with each other at work and she’s agreed to do something nice (that you are directly asking her for, mind you), and being polite about it with a smiley face, as if she’s saying it’s no trouble. I also find it polite for her to thank you for asking how she’s doing. Please don’t make more of these friendly responses to your own initiatives.
