What Girls Said
Too often. I've gotten used to it if I'm dressed up for work or something, but I always wonder why it happens when I'm dressed down for the weekend, and exhausted or running random errands, no makeup, hair mussed…. No idea at all what that appeal would be.
As for the age range, it varies. Some guys are younger — some guys are too much younger and I wonder why they don't go for someone closer to their age… The attention is flattering, but I'm really, really not into that. Some guys are older — some guys are too much older and that's also problemmatic. Some are clients so I have to shut that down immediately but politely.
A few have been within the range I like — 3-5 years older or younger — at events hosted by people I know. That's more my speed because everyone is expecting to mingle, everyone has at least one common friend and a few common social references to draw from, etc. We can flirt more comfortably, make one another laugh, etc. and still be friends afterwards. Two thumbs up, an excellent moment in time.
More important than the age rage is to let a guy down nicely if he hits on you and you're not interested. Just smile and say thanks, along with a firm "no"… (sometimes two very firm "nos"). I understand that often times a person has to gear up quite a bit to say anything, let alone express attraction to a complete stranger, and I get that, so I try to be kind and difuse an awkward situation. (Having said that, sometimes the situation has to be abandoned at the pinacle of awkward if the fellow is being odd.)
I think around 30-50, older they are, creepier thr hitting-ons get 😂
I've had around 18-21 hit on me too, but that has happenned like 2 or 3 times max.
Im 32 and want to date a coworker who is in her early 20s. Creepy?
Tbh kinda yes.
Not often.
