Girls, how often do you get hit on by a guy?

It's jus my assumption that a girl probably gets hit on by guys 1000 times a day... So that's why I never even bother trying.. she probably sick of it and I probably won't be nothing that stands out from the rest of the thousand other guys... But maybe I'm wrong... Maybe some. of the less attractive girls hardly get hit on at all?

Often enough that I think some others think I'm attractive. I am home a lot. . Some people who see me online and when I go out sometimes... mostly foreigners interact with me and many tell me. I also don't really dress provocatively so I take pride in knowing I'm appealing still.

sometimes a gentle "can I help you with that?" is a good start, introduce oneself...

You'd be surprised how many attractive women are still looking for love. If she thinks you just want sex and not a relationship, can be a turn off... some girls do just want sex but generally not from what I've heard. So comments like "sexy" can set her alarm off or staring too hard at her body parts, not looking her in the face... You can never go wrong with the word "beautiful" in my opinion.

Hmm I think that's where I've gone wrong in the past... When I did try to flirt with girls a few years ago... I always had sex on the top of my mind first so my words expressed that lol,. It's not that I didn't want maybe want something more like a relationship came from it, I'd like that too but sex was the immediate thing on my mind.. so maybe that's where my rejection has come from... I've come to understand guys better over time, as young as I am. Horniness is involuntary... if "it" goes up, it's very hard to ignore until relief, ... I used to get offended and express it but now I mostly feel compassion... but as you know, not everyone understands so yes keep that tip in mind.

It depends on what you mean by getting hit on? Online yes it happens from time to time from people i don't know and i never respond. In real life if you consider catcalling every girl get catcalled which is annoying. But if you are talking about a guy coming up and asking for a girl's number i don't think it happened to me maybe once lol even tho ik i'm beautiful but i'm a reserved person and i don't look approachable lol (i looks serious most of the times) and i rarely go out so yeah.

Contrary to what most guys assume, not every woman gets a barrage of attention or hit on by the opposite gender.

I'm serious when I say I honestly cannot recall. It's just not something that happens to me. However, I'm not that attractive- so that's probably why too.

That's a pretty unrealistic number. In the last week I got hit on two times, by two different men.

Before corona and when I did more then just going to work, I got hit on maybe on average 3-5 times a week in person and when my instagram used to be public it was at least one person per day

I wouldn't say thousands a day. I am mostly at work and then straight home during the weekdays. The worst is when I am at the gym. I just want to work out and go home but it never fails for a guy or guys to try to hit on me. So annoying.

@downindadumpz Well, it is sometimes switched as you say. Depends on the girl. For example, I wasn't really hitting on my now fiancé but when I first met him, I was the one to ask him to lunch.

So, it does happen. Yes, not nearly as much as the other way around but never say never!

I know a lady who is a long haul truck driver, and she gets on quite a bit. It has to do with not all that many women at truck stops so she is greatly outnumbered. She is a pretty friendly lady but unfortunately she has to not make eye contact or smile at people because they might read too much into it. She is even thinking of getting a fake wedding ring...
