Need help from people who succeeded in approaching, on how to approach a girl?

Theirs this girl i’m interested in and i keep seeing her staring at me for some reason so i wanna try to talk to her. I’m a bit socially awkward tho and i never approached anyone before.

For info: We got assigned seats so me randomly sitting next to her isn’t a option. We are in a drawing class and her friends sit at her table so i feel even more nervous cuz it’ll be more embarrassing if i end up screwing it up. I just really wanna know what to say to a girl when wanting to get their number and getting to know them more. Please don’t give cheesy advice and i know i gotta say “hey” but what else do i say after that? plus i can’t be standing next to her seat all day either so the convo has to be a bit short.

You need a reason to talk to her. Luckily with woman it can be any reason as long as its stimulating. I would start off by building familiarity. An art class is perfect because you can ask for help/input/a paper the teacher handed out earlier. Make comments about her art and as your confidence grows get more ballsy.

Compliments when it comes to a skill is all about picking up on the areas where a person puts in extra effort. If her drawing looks like shit but the shading is nicer than the lines, show her you notice her shading looks nice, maybe ask her to copy an art style that relies on her strengths but her weaknesses won't show so much.

Maybe it's just me but I've been shying away from direct compliments about appearance lately. Instead, I'll let her catch me staring at her hair for a moment if she did it especially well that day or make a quick glance at some feature she probably knows is a good one she has.

Maybe if she likes you, she'll call you out and you can double down. But what would be even better to do is before it gets to that point, ask her out.

See her in the morning and usually only see her 2 times a week and sometimes 3 as well

You could wait outside the classroom before it begins, talk to her when she arrives, tell her you are going for a cup of coffee after class, and ask if she would like to join you.

Approaching anyone for the first time takes courage. But I would say at the least be yourself. Be honest with your communication. Respectful. if she has any empathy she will know how difficult it is for you to approach her. A simple "would you like to join me for a cup of coffee?" should suffice. If she says no try not to take offense... she was not for you. But pat your self on the back for being confident to ask. Fortune favors the brave.
