I’ve seen them work but only bc the person delivering the line looks sheepish or apologetic while saying the cheesiest thing on earth — and because the person receiving also has a sense of humor that allows for the cheesy moment to pass/be correctly interpreted.

Other times the delivery is creepy bc the body language or something else is off and the chemistry between the people is off.

I had a friend in college who would just walk up to girls and say Hi! "Wanna fuck?". He never went home alone but he often went home with slap marks across the face or worse if her male friends or her boyfriend was there. We actually got tired of rescuing him and let nature take it's course after a while. We calculated his odds at about 1 in 30. We also observed how many women claimed they were lesbians after a line like that!

I will say no. Coming from a guy who spent his life basically always alone, always rejected by girls, always bullied. I've learned a lot and now I feel that I know about this topic.

It's not the pickup line itself that matters. It's your energy. It's your confidence. It's the way you can easily and casually strike up a conversation with someone.

Anyone can use a pickup line but it's not just going to work for everyone. You have to have that energy and such like I said.

Yep, if you got it going on physically gibberish and they'll eat you up. But the perfect line in the history of men chasing them on a ugly guy may work on 2% of hottest. But they're the sensitive ones.
