How can I flirt about a hug?

So there is this guy who I feel likes me but he is not comfortable with expressing his feelings but he is good with physical touch. I asked him for a hug and he said yes and gave me a lingering (maybe 10 seconds) hug with both arms. Should I tell me him over text that it felt good? Any other suggestions for flirting about this?

Being touchy or giving long hugs doesn’t always equate to romantic feelings, I actually think it would be presumptuous to say otherwise. Now If there are other things going on to suggest a crush (staring into your eyes for lengths of time, complimenting you in excess, always trying to hang out with you or do things for you, etc) then at most I’d be straightforward and ask him out. From there I’d try to ease in some flirting. Flirting over text is too risky in my opinion, like even if he’s techno single he could have a woman around who could potentially see you do that.

If you think he likes you but he doesn't know how to say it be direct with him. If you want to send a text about it say something like "i loved that hug, maybe next time we could be naked while hugging"
