Match their level of energy. If she texts short messages, you text back a short message. If she texts a compliment, then you return one. In the beginning it is important that you don't go beyond the amount of work or energy she is putting into the interaction. As an example of what not to do, don't reply to a short two sentence hello message with, "Oh wow, you're really beautiful. I read through your bio and I must ask, how are you enjoying your studies in chemical engineering? I myself am studying English literature. Are you a fan of Dua Lipa?"

That would be lopsided, and she'll get the impression that you're desperate to impress her, or desperate to engage with her, and she'll lose interest. So keep it chill. If you have multiple questions you want to ask her, just ask them one at a time. Also, generally if she's letting a lot of time pass between her texts, you should also match that. It'll slow down the exchange (possibly to a tedious crawl), but it's important that you establish that you're high status and that you're not at her beck and call.

The thing about texting, is that it's kind of okay to be a little passive. Don't worry too much about trying to make good moves, worry instead about avoiding bad moves. If you can be halfway decent at holding a conversation, and not give away any indicators that you're a loser, you can eventually invite her to a phone conversation. Or an in person meetup.

And to do that you can just casually chit chat. You can make boring small talk about the latest pop culture, talk about your hobbies or interests, or you can talk about how many brothers and sisters you have. You don't have to be too passionate in the first text messages, you can save that for later.

Especially since she texted you first. That's a really good position for you to be in, because now you can take the pressure off yourself to woo her, and you can instead operate from the premise that she already likes you, and now the goal of your texting is to just discover what qualities she appreciates about you and to expand greater detail upon that. Instead of playing offensively to win an advantage, you're playing defensively to maintain an advantage.

So your first text reply, say assuming that she texted you "hi", is just "sup?" right back to her. If she texted you a question, you can just answer that question. If she texted you first you can just sort of quietly acknowledge the text coax her for more. "Why did you text me?" That might be a bit too Chad. You can also say, "Was my good looks or my intelligence that made you want to text me?" That's also probably too Chad for you... How about "So you like __?" and mention something in her bio. Only if she plays hard to get, suddenly going quiet, would you have to worry about switching into pursuer mode, and thinking of something to grab her attention. And that's not too hard to do either, you could say something like, "Rachel, I know it's you. Stop trying to add me under a fake account." That might be too theatrical. How's a casual non sequitur, "If astrology actually worked, wouldn't Google use that to target advertisements?"

This is just some basic text game advice, and of course to succeed with the ladies, you should learn standard red pill principles that will apply to any female interaction. At some point if you're texting a girl and creating enough interest you should use more advanced knowledge to create deeper attraction. Text game is more about creating interest rather than attraction.

If you can flip the script and get her to write lengthy well thought out responses to your inquires, that is a really good thing, and that should be one of your top priorities. If you can break past the even exchange paradigm, and she can feel comfortable just blathering on in detail about whatever, then that means you've won and that she's more or less comfortable with you. At that point you can get a phone number or a date or whatever, and you can sort of stop thinking about the game, and just enjoy chatting with her in text as if she were a good friend. (But remember she is a girl that you're trying to seduce, so don't be too cringe.)

Okay dude, here's what you do - don't overthink it! This girl already liked you so she must think you're cute too. All you gotta do is say hey.

I'd start by complimenting her on something specific from her photos, like "Hey, love your smile in your last pic!" Keep it casual and friendly. Then ask how her day is going to get a convo started.

From there, just ask some basic getting-to-know-you questions. Like where she's from, what she likes to do for fun. Listen to her answers too so the back and forth feels natural.

If the convo seems to be flowing, maybe suggest meeting up! Be like "We should grab a coffee sometime if you're free this week." Having that plan will show you're interested but not coming on too strong.

At the same time, no pressure either. Let things develop at their own pace. As long as you're friendly and yourself, you'll be golden dude! Let me know how it goes. You got this man!

Pretend this is an old friend that you’re running into out in public. How would you act in that situation? Comfortable for sure, but then you’d say things like “how are you doing?” “What are you up to these days?” Or whatever you’d normally ask. I think that’s how you can alleviate a lot of the anxiety you feel when trying to shoot your shot.

Don't worry about the friendzone for the first few interactions. Holly's just trying get you to approach her from a position of comfortable familiarity. The way to avoid the friendzone is not by avoiding being friendly, it's by just letting your intentions be known and crossing boundaries with innuendo.

Eh, not necessarily. My irl conversational skills were fine I think, but when I started to be more proactive in trying to find a partner using the internet, I was sort of in an alien culture when it came to texting. There are a few unwritten rules about how to text the opposite sex, so don't assume that social confidence is enough to carry somebody through in different venues.

As an example, imagine a Chad who's totally comfortable rizzing a girl at a nightclub randomly finding himself at a church. Think his usual repertoire would be helpful?

Talk to her the way you talk to your best friend. Just regular stuff. If it turns sexual, then you're in, and don't have to worry about it.
