I am in a paradox?

I can't open up to someone without getting to know them, but after I get to know them and open up, they say I can't look at you that way, am I making a mistake somewhere?

I think honestly you’re not in a paradox, simply you’re just expressing your thoughts in a world were thoughts and sentiments just become something to put aside.
Since you gave too few informations, you have to be aware that there’s a time when you can tell or not things: if you have just met a girl you can’t tell her “you’re beautiful, marry me”, she’ll be shocked and she’ll think you’re only joking.


Sentiments and things, I think, have to be shown slowly. Don’t rush and maybe let other people to know slowly you and what you think about them.
You have to know people, obviously, but before opening up completely, maybe let them know you better.
