Am I the confusing one here?

I have known this colleague for almost 7 years now. Though he is 13 years my senior, he is unmarried. We are quite close and I am not sure if my feelings for him are purely platonic or there's more to that. He is very helpful and considerate but I am worried I might be overthinking this. I dare not ask him as I do not want to jeopardize our relationship. Does a guy willing to help a lady because his parents raised him right or he is expecting something in return?

I sincerely think I don’t know him so I can’t answer properly… I can assume he has a good heart and is willing to help a lady, if you see him acting like that also with other ladies.
Try observing his behaviour, if he’s polite only with you, he probably expects something in return, but if he is a good man he’d be doing this because he’s polite and willing to help.
