Hey, All! Thanks for the feedback! I think since the general consensus is that it’s a sexual comment I’ve opted to switch dance instructors to avoid an uncomfortable situation.

So basically what I get from these is that it's a compliment that means you have a butt that will always look good. It honestly doesn't sound classy to me and I don't think I'd ever say it myself 😂

It's a compliment.
"Those legs don't quit" was probably the original line. I would have thought it was from the 1940s or 50s, but I can't find an origin or any quotes. It would have meant long, shapely legs that "go all the way up".
An ass or butt or booty that won't quit may have been from the Simpsons. The phrase seems to be circulating around.

It does depend on the context on how it was said, they could have been complimenting your butt on how it looks and how much exercise you are doing, maybe you train really long , it’s definitely slang for many things

I've just never heard someone comment on it that way. It's odd to me. And the context was for a class... I'll have to think about it before the next class. (I've been attending dance and workout classes over the summer, but the teachers don't usually comment that way... They just say "good job" or "nice form" you know? I think this is odd given what you've mentioned.)
