Do guys mean it when they call you gorgeous?

I wished a guy I went on a couple dates with Happy Birthday the other day and he replied “Thanks gorgeous”. I didn’t reply but should I text him some other time or was the gorgeous part maybe just something nice to say?

It all depends. That word along w a lot of other words is subjective to what that person thinks of you. Someone who finds you gorgeous may not. Also it could just be used as a term of endearment. Like thank you sweetie. Or thank you beautiful. A woman could say the same thing to another girl. It all depends. Ho knows maybe he says that to a lot of women to be nice. There’s not a whole lot of context to go off of.
