Why would he say something like that?

I can’t read his mind but there is more to just this incident but I kinda thought he liked me a lot of others mentioned too but when he said that at the end it made me question to why he would reply like that, I do unloading as part of my job he is the dock controller at the end of the day he starts a conversation with me I was about to leave, we start talking than he mentions how I done “0” trailers today, I look up at him and say there is no way I could have done 0 trailers bc I know I did more than one for sure and than I mention and say by the way the last One me and this guy worked on it together his other friend interrupted us and says “ he can change it for you ONLY you.. there was a pause for a second he says something like yeaaa rightttt I can’t remember exact I didn’t say anything back..

Girl, from what you described it does seem weird that he said that at the end. Like why even bring up changing the numbers only for you? That's an odd thing to say for sure.

A few thoughts on why he might have said it:

- Maybe his buddy jokingly suggesting he change it embarrassed him in front of you, so he downplayed it so you wouldn't think he was trying to give you special treatment? Guys can be weird about that stuff.

- Possibly he's into you but also unsure how you feel, so denying he'd change it is like backpedaling cause he didn't want to seem too forward if you're not interested?

- Or he just wasn't thinking and it came off weirder than he meant. Guys say dumb stuff sometimes when they're caught off guard!

I wouldn't read too much into it without other context. But if you like him, you could try flirting back a little more openly to show your interest. That might make him more comfortable being straightforward too. For now just play it cool - hopefully you'll get more clarity on where he's at! Fingers crossed girl.
