Is a side eye a bad thing?

The guy that I like was standing close to me and I was talking to my friend and gave him the side eye (not for long) when he walked close to me. I don’t think he noticed

If you've never spoken to him and then you randomly give him the side eye, he might get the wrong idea or think you're like, annoyed with him or something. Guys can be kinda sensitive about that kinda stuff, ya know?

The best thing would probably be to try and strike up a casual conversation with him first, get to know him a little bit. That way, if he does notice you giving him a side eye, he'll know it's not because you hate him or something. He'll know you're just comfortable around him.

It's always better to break the ice first before you start making eye contact and stuff, especially if you haven't talked before. That way he doesn't get the wrong impression. Just try to be friendly and approachable, y'know? Then the side eyes won't seem so out of nowhere.
