Guys, He invited me to music festival but then forgot my name?

If I see a guy who I somewhat know but not very well and he's asking me about my music and piano. He said I should go to this particular music festival that he goes to every year. I thought it was all a good sign but the next time I saw him he said to my friend afterwards that he forgot my name

yeah and? names are easy to forget when you haven't spent that much time around someone. you don't have to remember a name to remember how they made you feel when you were around them.
