Girls, is cold approaching randomly in public bad?

I’ve read about this a few times and almost always the girl says it’s annoying or they don’t like it.. but some say it’s ok. What’s really the truth.. does it really depend on the person or is it usually ok to say hi, have a quick chat and ask for a number/social to keep in contact etc etc.

to me it honestly seems like they don’t like it, but guys do it so much, girls kinda “give in” and go through the whole interaction and they just go along with it, and see where it goes.. I hope not! Because I want to test my confidence and try it out. At a certain time of the day, I’m getting my steps in and walking my dog, and I see loads of girls alone walking for exercise or walking their dogs, and they’re always friendly with me, so why not try lol

Approaches by strangers, whether they are "cold", "warm", "hot" or of any other temperature in-between is never welcomed. I speak of course for myself and myself only.

I am obviously very well aware what the ultimate goal, the final aim of a man approaching a girl is. Ultimately and if all goes according to plan, the aim is obviously to get into her pants and that is the reason I do not allow or tolerate anyone approaching me. I politely decline any attempt to initiate conversation because it is useless to give that stranger a reason why he should even try to start a conversation.

Normally, a "not interested, thank you" would suffice but some people don't accept a "no" for an answer and then I get loud for all to hear.

I believe cold approach is getting to the point, that the guy is interested in her and would like to know her more.. warm approach is starting a conversation based on their surroundings or the latest events etc then lead to a number exchange for coffee etc.

But yeah I guess it seriously depends on the person, because I’ve read women love it, and a lot a lot hate it. But more people dislike it. Interesting

It depends I would say. If I’m grocery with a friend shopping, probably not a good time.

If I’m out at a party at school on a weekend, then it is fine.

That’s cool! And it’s good to know when is a good time, and yeah definitely more in a social environment is best huh. Cool to see at least one person who doesn’t mind 😅

Yeah, as long as it is evident I’m not busy. Another good example is if I am studying at the library and have my face in a book. Bad time. If I am sitting on a bench reading a book for pleasure. Good time.
