How Common Are Harmless Crushes For Married Women?

There are quite a few shows that display men having cute, harmless crushes on women other than their wife, simply because the other women is more modern, educated, more beautiful etc. Deep down, they feel they deserve somebody of her level, she's smart, funny, pretty etc. Think Anu from Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai! and Babita ji from Tarak Mehta or boss lady from May I Come In Madam?

So here's my question, do married women also let their eyes wander?

LOL, they do a lot more than let their eyes wander. They will openly flirt with or without their husbands present. They are not shy about tossing out compliments. They will be really aggressive about approaching me and asking about my status / personal life. They will tell me or demonstrate they don't their husbands with him standing 10 feet away, LOL. They will come right out and tell me they want an affair, a one night stand, or ask me where my car is parked if they are out solo or with the girl group. It's really pretty common. There are a LOT of frustrated, lonely housewives out there. It still shocks the shit out of me but women are every bit as bad as men when it comes to getting laid. I've lost all my preconceived notions and societal bias regarding women being sweet little flowers.

A friend once told me about 2 different women, something to the effect... "Oh I know her. She's really nice. But she's married. She'd never cheat on her husband."

Yes she would.

Afterwards... "Wow, I've never seen her behave like that. I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. She wanted to climb you like a tree!". And she did.

Afterwards... "told ya so".

Now he admits I'm a LOT more aware and perceptive about women than he is.

Hey don't shoot the messenger. I'm just telling you a truth you apparently don't want to hear or believe about your fellow women. I'm never the initiator in any of this. I don't generally interact with many people at all. But it happens. And it is NOT uncommon. Like it. Don't like it. Pretend it doesn't exist. Doesn't change the reality of human behavior. And don't blame men for a woman's wandering eyes. At least admit women are just as bad as the men you love to blame.
