It has happened to me and it was so embarrassing. In short, the guy asked me how old I was and, when I told him, his response was “oh wow! I would’ve guessed you were younger! You look so youthful!” I didn’t indulge him. I just let the moment pass. I looked over at his wife and she was absolutely mortified.

My good friend’s girlfriend was sitting next to me on a couch late night at a party when we were all faded. I was talking to her about some girl from one of my classes that I thought might like me, because she was asking me about my dating life. I said I was getting kind of mixed signals, but at one point she had laid her head on my shoulder to rest, probably out of boredom from the class, haha.

And my buddy’s girl goes “oh, if she did that, she definitely likes you.” Then I’m like “you think so?”, and she goes “oh yeah, you only do that to show you like someone.” And then, she just lays down with her head IN MY LAP, and I’m like “UHHHHHH….”

I look across the room and there’s my buddy looking right over at us, looking pissed. I gave him a look and put my hands up kinda like “bro…. I’m not doing this, its her…”, and kind of made a laughing expression like it wasn’t that serious, like “ahhhhhh, crazy drunken antics, amirite?”😅

But his look remained deadpan and those few seconds felt like forever before she sat back up. He never said anything to me about it, I think he was (rightly) upset with her and not me. But that was for sure awkward.

I was helping a client with the administrative part of his demand as per my job, but he kept complimenting me about how educated I am "unlike" his wife and mother who's papers he's responsible for.

He said he wishes for a woman like me smart and sweet with her mom because the psycho happened to catch me running errands with my mom before ever being appointed to me.
