She stood next to me like right next to me we were waiting to clock into work everyone else is in line besides me and couple other people. So I see her and another girl start to smile and it’s like the other girl knew what was happening I don’t know. You just clock in after the next so another guy says what’s up to me worked with him before so she leans in as we are talking. So he opens convo with her and that was the last time I saw her she knows him I’m guessing he probably likes her I should stay back. So she is just leading me on maybe just wants attention or something probably why the other girl was smiling. I saw her at the end we looked at each other her first of course just had to make sure she is actually looking and not just because I am. I’m kinda a social outcast regardless of why but whenever girls flirt I always know it won’t go anywhere because of that so. Until I move away I guess I’m asking if I should use this as practice talking to girls until then and very little to no chance it will go anywhere should I even try. Should I just ask him if she has a boyfriend already to save my self confidence or speak directly to her I hate when people say it’s just friends because if that’s the case leave me alone.

Didn’t talk to her yesterday all I said in a joking manner because I wanted to say something even if I was nervous to say anything at all. You should come help us she responded no just do it yourself knock that sh* out something like that. She came and helped us tho who knows if I’m lucky it was because I asked and at the time she came in our work area to talk to my coworker. But before hand he said she told some guy she had a boyfriend and after I told him what happened he said well maybe She just didn’t want to give him her number. He says she is cool and all that and she doesn’t disrespect him/ boyfriend but I guess I can just take this as a loss it’s cool. And just a side note my friend is engaged so I know he doesn’t have any interest.

Just trying to save my mental health if I know she isn’t interested before hand I have nothing to worry about no games. I can just move along and just because a girl is nice to you doesn’t mean she likes you I’m fully aware. why I rather ask someone else don’t have to embarrass myself doesn’t hurt but does sting your confidence a little bit for sure.

You don’t know what you’re trying to save yourself from because you don’t know what’s going on. You have had zero communication with this woman just in your head BAD. Now you want to go to other people asking questions because you’re what? Too scared? If you don’t have the balls to have a simple conversation you have self esteem issues to address.

This is exactly what I’m saying to this other person you say (You have had zero communication with this woman just in your head BAD. ) as if I actually was the one who started this like I’m crazy. What’s the point of having a conversation/ Friendzone if that’s not what I want. And self esteem I have a reason to believe everyone is against or have a hidden agenda I just treat people nice and carry on about my day. I learned from past mistakes and I don’t try to get close or expect any friendship or loyalty I just move on and keep it respectful.

Well, let me just say that having that mindset (that everyone is against you or has a hidden agenda) will work against you because it’s very defeatist and paranoid. You didn’t learn any lessons from the past you just decided not to try anymore in an effort to protect yourself from getting hurt. To each their own but eventually that’s a lonely way of living. I’m not address who started what first, I’m mainly talking about how avoidant you are with this woman to the point that rather than ask her for clarity you’ll make assumptions instead and justify doing that.

Understood but don’t really have much of a choice to feel that way wouldn’t you? Even a little there is some truth to that i can try but if she is interested what’s the point. When someone else has the power to take it away from me not that it’s that deep I haven’t even spoken to her yet. But the way i felt in the past cause me to cut my friends off for this very reason and regret it. Im over it now but that situation they actually had mutual friends with people who spread old rumors. never stood up for me and since they knew they before me I decided it was time to let go just separate myself quietly.
