I asked someone out from Muay Thai class , she said no?

On the weekends I goto Muay Thai class. There usually 2 - 4 of us there. There 1 female thats fun to be around, and I was interested in her. It seemed flirting went both ways. So I took a huge leap, I was stuck in the "what if" stage. And for me to ask someone out was something I haven't done in years. Her answer made me think if that really was the reason to say no. Her reply was ->" I so appreciate this offer! I am not looking to date "anyone from class though, I don't want to mix the two. Thanks for asking! " . We are only like 4 to 5 people max on a good day. All the other people are married. So to me was a little weird reply. I'd it so it doesn't become awkward if it doesn't work out? Or she just wasn't interested in at all? Just why does she filet with me? 🤔 Would like to know your opinions. I am trying to move on. But not that easy. Hopefully won't be weird next class.

Most likely she's just not interested in you in general. She is trying to soften the blow by saying it's a class thing she's trying to avoid. Some guys dont deal with rejection well and to avoid a scene or to avoid violence we try to protect their feelings.

I'd say just move on and try not to make it weird in the next class. You were brave and took your shot, it just unfortunately didn't end up working out. Sorry about that.
