How would a guy feel if a girl at the gym called him attractive?

this kind of goes hand in hand with my last question, but guys how would you feel if a girl approached you in the gym (not during a set) and flat out told you you're attractive. I'm thinking of going up to my gym crush when he's not busy and just keeping it straight up with a simple "hey, I dont mean to bother you, but I just wanted to tell you that you're really attractive." Thats it really, just shooting my shot hoping it goes for the best. Let me know how y'all would interpret this or if it's a dumb way to approach.

A lot of men would get embarrassed, maybe even turn red. It also depends on what you look like, if the girl is fugly then chances are it’s whatever. But I think most men really wouldn’t know how to respond because men aren’t used to receiving compliments. Most men don’t get compliments throughout their life so when someone does compliment you you don’t know what to say or how to respond.

It depends. If you’re cute you have a better shot. Just being honest. That’s what usually draws men in first, a woman’s looks.

Flattered. But you might just ask him if he wants to get a coffee or something after the workout. It's the same thing, but less emotional. If you tell him that he's attractive, he's going to feel pressured to tell you the same. If you ask him to coffee, he can politely decline if he's not attracted or is in a committed relationship.

Thats a pretty good approach. You want to be very straight forward, and might even consider offering your number to be extremely obvious. It was always drilled in my head that women don't like being approached in the gym. I'm there to workout, and I don't want to make it an uncomfortable situation for anyone. In retrospect, I've definitely missed some opportunities.
