My friend invited me to her family business at Shanghai expo, I am just a friend of a business owner, yet I made them three deals already in past hour because I was friendly chatty and flirty with other foreigners who passed. Some asked me if they can still see me tomorrow 😁 feeling so confident hahah

Yeah. For a guy I think it comes down to confidence. Being relaxed and not caring so much about where the flirting ends up. Just enjoying the banter back and forth. And having the guts to challenge her a couple of times.

I was doing that with a woman last Friday night. I asked her a question that was designed to make her head spin. She just froze like a deer in headlights. She wouldn't break eye contact and got super serious. It seemed like forever but it was probably about 10 seconds. It got sort of uncomfortable. As in "are you OK"? I could see her mind was racing and she was having an internal struggle with how to say what she wanted to say. In the end she answered the question perfectly. And it was an instant bonding situation. It went from joking and laughing to dead serious in a heartbeat. I couldn't get rid of her from that point.

What did I get from her answer?

Intelligence - She understood the question and the implications.
Introspective thought - She showed me she can step outside of herself and examine her own motivations and behaviors. And she obviously spends time doing that.
Courage - She gave an answer that was deep and vulnerable.
Honesty - She legitimately told me something about herself.

I went from "this is a Bobble Head Barbie" to "holy shit, this is a serious person" instantly. In contrast she immediately demanded that I pose the same question to 2 of her friends.

The 1st friend obviously understood the question but just froze up. No response other than a stare of fear. OK, that one failed the courage and honesty tests.

The 2nd friend answered with the most stupid fucking comment I could have imagined. Obviously had no clue what I was asking. Complete failure of intelligence and introspective thought. It took all my self control to keep from bursting out laughing. The girl who got the question right and I both did an eyeroll. I guess there's a clueless harmless one in every friend group, LOL. 🤣

Anyway that's what flirting is useful for IMHO. Separating the gold from the rocks and having fun doing it.

Yeah, there are moments. Someone warned me that I'm very "magnetic" but I never really notice bc I'm just being myself. I've been known to be "disarming" even when I'm arguing with someone. I don't know why.

Yes I do at times , I have an outgoing personality and I am not very judgmental or shy whatsoever and I have humor as well which draws people in as well so when it comes to girls’ I am usually good at getting her attention and interested in me , Most of my friends’ have told me I should be a salesman because I am good at talking to people and making them feel comfortable. Some people are very chatty and smilling a lot. They start to talk even with strangers in bus, at the workplace with coworkers or even with the guy from the call center. They can be even touchy, when talking to you to put the hand on you.

I saw such a behaviour for exemple at my workplace, a married lady 60 y. o. Never heard gossip about her, like cheating on her hubby or having an adventure.

Its just a talkative/friendly/social person.

Flirting for me has a hidden intention, a romantic one.

Not suddenly. It kinda came to fruitition over a course of time and many experiences. When the majority of people tell you the same thing over a period of time it becomes harder to disagree with them. Now I just accept the compliment with a thanks and carry on carrying on.
