Was my coworker just being friendly, or was he actually flirting with me?

While at work my coworker (male) was teaching me (female) and another coworker (male) a card game. I was getting confused at some of the rules which was making him chuckle a bit but he taught me it. Once I learned he said "now you'll have to go home and teach your husband". To which I replied no because I was flustered and then he repeated the no in a joking tone as he walked away. It took me a second to come up with something good to say back so I kind of yelled after him I'd have to get a husband first. Which I dunno if he heard. I'm single and have never talked about a husband nor have I ever worn a ring.
This coworker often jokes with everyone he's a pretty laid back guy. He is also a little older and way out of my league (he is your typical gorgeous player type and I am overweight). So I have a hard time thinking it could be flirting as much as I wish. I've been into him for awhile but try to stick to myself out of fear of making him uncomfortable or crossing a professional boundary. Though a couple of my friends at work know I think he is hot.
