Is my coworker flirting or not?

She genuinely smiles whenever I speak.
Today she sat across from me at lunch break and was on her phone but had big grins when I spoke.
She does have social anxiety.
And she kept kept stretching with her hands up and behind her head and her chest out infront of me over and over again. (Chest thrusting)
I told her about what someone at my church said and she started to pull her cross necklace out and show me without speaking or looking at me, then tuck it back in her hoodie.
She is trained on a new position at work that has been making her neck sore telling me she about left early yesterday and that she needs a massage. She mentioned massage at least 2 times.
We are 10 years in age difference she's 18 I'm 28
I know she is 18 bc our workplace requires you to be at least 18 to work here.
She moved up here from nowhere Mississippi and is a laid back country gal. But I can't tell if she is sending signals.
We talk throughout the day with short chats when we see each other and she always smiles. But I think that is her social anxiety in her.
Also she sat very laid back at break from me with one arm over the back of the chair.
She has been here for 4 months and normally goes to her car for breaks but since it's been raining so much she has been inside for break. Today was the first day in a long time she sat at my table.
We have similar interests like fishing and shooting but I've come to find out that she smokes week for her anxiety and I don't want to date anyone that does that. I'm fine with being friends though.

Dude, this does seem like she may be kind of into you, but it's hard to say 100%. A few things that make me think she could be flirting:

- Definite vibes when she stretches showing off her chest near you

- Pulling out her cross necklace without saying why seems flirty

- Mentioning needing a massage twice could be hinting

- Smiling a lot and chatting more now that she sits with you

But social anxiety could explain some of it too, like the smiling. And the age gap is significant at your ages.

I'd say keep the conversations casual and don't overthink it for now. See if she seems interested in getting to know you better one on one, outside of breaks.

For now just enjoy chatting as coworkers. If you do start vibing more, you'll have to be sure she's not too young or just being friendly before asking her out. Best not to rush things, right bro?

That is correct. Also I believe she may be interested in fishing with me.
But I was told by a woman yesterday that stretching like that can also very well may be because she doesn't know what to do and her have social issues sound legit. This woman told me they do that when they're in situations like mine and would just stretch because they didn't know how to fill that time.
Also the age is a big one.
But dang it, country girls really mature faster than city girls so I had no idea she was 18 till a month ago.

Dang dude, I hear you. That age gap would definitely complicate things if y'all did end up liking each other. But yeah, country girls do tend to grow up faster and act older than their age sometimes.

And good point about the social anxiety - stretching could totally just be a nervous habit to fill silent moments. Not necessarily a flirty cue. This girl seems sweet but probably real shy too.

Fishing together could be low pressure way to bond more platonically. Gets you spending quality time without expectations. See how y'all vibe in a chill setting.

If after that you still feel a romantic connection, I'd just keep your chats light hearted for now. Like you said, see if she shows interest in you or dating in general before making any moves. Let her lead the pace of things since of the age factor.
