I remember a few years ago, I was standing outside and some guy came up to me saying the charm on my lanyard (that I’m wearing as a necklace) is nice. I explained a little about it. It’s just my roommate got it for me. It was a rubber-like crab. He asked if he could touch it and I didn’t think too much so I said yes. After he touched the charm, it felt really awkward. He wasn’t saying anything. And it was weird because I was still wearing it and he was kinda close. He kept staring at it and I was waiting for him to let go of the charm. It took some time because I was looking back at him and then looking to the side. But after that, it was kinda the end of the interaction. I wonder tho if this was a PUA tactic and he thought he could try it on me because I didn’t seem intimidating. It’s just he didn’t seem nervous at all. Or I guess maybe he genuinely was very interested in touching a rubber charm.

It could’ve been flirting, weird, or any number of things, you’ll never know. The only real takeaway is that nothing came of this brief interaction, years ago.

Would you describe it as "lost in thought?" He could have been thinking if it was right for someone he knew, sizing you up as a Cancer, or something like that.
