What does it actually mean when someone calls you an interesting person?

Lol it means they are either lying or have a weird sense of what interesting means if they are saying it about me. I am boring and not very interesting at all.

In the general sense though, I am supposing it means you have a quality that piques their interest. It's generally a positive thing but not always.
