Frankly men seldom want friendship with a girl. We've got mates for friends.

Men typically are quicker than girls in wanting a relationship - I presume that is the more than. We are quicker because we have broader mate selection criteria.

there's no guarantee. you can only invest more consistent time and see if his feelings develop. if they don't, pull back before you get hurt too much. if you're noticing you are crushing hard, it's probably not worth continuing cause at that point the risk of huge separation pains and end of frienship are high.
